How to add a branding watermark to YouTube Videos

In the bottom right corner of a YouTube Video, some creators have added a branding watermark.

By adding this feature, you can increase the notability of your brand & increase your channel subscribers.

In this blog post, I will walk you through a visual tutorial on how you can create yours.

Let’s get started.

Step 1: Login to your CANVA account & create a custom dimension design of 400 x 400.

Step 2: Design your graphic to be consistent with your branding & desired CTA.

Step 3: Save & download your design

Step 4: Click your profile photo in the top right corner of your YouTube Channel homepage. Click on YouTube Studio from the dropdown menu.

Step 5: When on the next page, click on settings in the bottom left corner of the menu.

Step 6: At the next page, click on channel on the right hand side & then the branding tab at the top.

Step 7: Now on the branding page, click on choose image & upload the design you made earlier. Then click save.

Step 8: When you view one of your YouTube videos, your new branded watermark should appear in the left hand corner if you chose the option of “entire video.”
