What’s your why?

If you’ve been lacking clarity or creativity in your business, this blog post is for you!

Many times, we aren’t feeling a passion or showing up productively for our business because we’ve lost connection & clarity on it’s purpose!

Purpose; “the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists.”

Why does your business exist? Who does it exist to serve? How do you serve them?

If you think back to the early days of staring your business, you probably felt huge highs of creativity, clarity, productivity & confidence.

This is first of all because you had motivation at the beginning, which is extremely fleeting & now you’re having to develop the discipline to successfully progress forward.

I would also say it’s because of how aligned you felt to a bigger picture.

There was a bright & shiny reason WHY you said “I’m going to start a business!”

Usually it’s a combination of both income & impact.

What impact or result did you want to create for the people that you set out to serve?

It’s vitally important that you stay connected to that intention.

You are going to have many highs & lows on your journey of being an entrepreneur. Knowing that, you’ll be able to stay strong & grow through the challenges, move forward from the times of creativity & clarity lack because you’re so committed to the reason why you started the dang business in the first place!

I firmly believe that when we have a strong enough why, not only will we convince ourselves to get up & go after it – we’ll inspire other people to chase down their success too.

Let me know in the comments below what your WHY is. I would love to hear from you!

Your friend,
Madyson Greene

PS: There is a book by Simon Sinek called “Start With Why.”  Give it a read!
